Important: Private self-drive rentals are only permitted when renting a bakkie for five days or longer. Shorter rentals are allowed when you hire a bakkie with a Clearing Shipment driver. This rule does not apply to company rentals.

Double Cabs: Double cab bakkies may only be rented through a company on a monthly basis. No private rentals are available on this vehicle class.

Our main bakkie hire depots are in Johannesburg, Pretoria/Centurion, Cape Town and Durban. If your route falls outside of these areas, share your details with us and we’ll explore suitable options or alternative arrangements.
Private self-drive rentals are allowed for 5 days or longer. For shorter rental periods, you’ll need to hire the bakkie with a Clearing Shipment driver. These restrictions do not apply to company rentals, which can be more flexible depending on your profile.
Double cab bakkies may only be rented through a company on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, we do not offer double cab rentals to private individuals at this time.
